This imaginative approach to respond to Covid restrictions has been created to give a little festive cheer in the heart of Brighton.
Customers will be able to eat, drink and be merry while enjoying live music and Cabaret, complete with drag and burlesque performances.
Jubilee Square will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland complete with a massive Dream Dome, ski lifts and gondolas to provide a fun festival throughout the month of December.
From Crimbo Cabaret, to bottomless brunches, to merry musical bingo, Midsummer Nightcap provides the community with a festive solution to break out of those 'lockdown blues' - all whilst upholding Covid restrictions, with socially distanced seating in a heated outdoor area.
If for any reason the event can not go ahead due to government guidelines, customers will be refunded their tickets.
The event, as well as providing a live entertainment outlet, will be a great support to local businesses and performers by offering something for the community to come together and enjoy in a safe way.
Each ticket to this wintery wonderland includes:
Entry to the magical outdoor Christmas event in Jubilee Square, complete with rain coverage, tables, heaters and festive decorations, alongside drinks from the Christmas bar with a range of festive tipples.
A warm grazing box including local goodies with a gooey baked cheese (vegan Shamembert option available) and freshly baked bread with scrumptious seasonal sides, followed by a mince pie or yule log.
Entry to an eclectic range of covid-friendly Christmas shows, such as Merry Musical Bingo with an option for a (Fizz the Season) bottomless brunch, or the special kids' 'Noel Problem' show on selected dates.
In the evenings, customers can step inside to the Hooray Cabaret featuring the freshest new acts, with a mix of drag, burlesque and circus - all with a festive twist.
This Covid compliant approach to live festivals has been pioneered by local Brighton resident 28-year-old Francesca Nally.
Her company Midsummer Nightcap has already staged two Covid compliant events: Picnic at the Palace at Blenheim and Picnic at the Castle at Warwick.
"My business was decimated by the Covid pandemic, so a response was necessary and our Covid compliant approach was created.
"I wanted to put on a series of events that would help support local businesses and uplift the community during a difficult time."
"We are delighted to be working with Hooray Events on the entertainment, as they will be involving many local artists.
"We are also thrilled to see that long standing member, Alfie Ordinary, will be one of the highlights, creating a line-up packed with festive fun."
There are a number of special packages available, from those who want to celebrate their birthday in style with a personalised party to those who want to make the day memorable with champagne and truffles - check the website for more details.
